BEIRUT — Early Thursday morning, AFP video captured at least two explosions striking southern Beirut, approximately an hour after the Israeli military advised residents in four Hezbollah stronghold districts to evacuate.
The footage reveals two smoke plumes rising over southern Beirut, with AFP journalists in the city reporting the sound of loud blasts. Earlier, Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee had called on people in four southern Beirut neighborhoods to leave, including an area near Beirut’s international airport.
